"Having Robyn as a little sister had its advantages and disadvantages. She could be a pain in the butt when she really wanted to, and believe me; she really knew how to work that angle. But on the other hand, it felt good having someone that looked up to me; someone with whom I could share stuff with. We had our fair share of sibling rivalry, but as we both grew up, that rivalry all but disappeared and took on the new form of friend. I say this with utmost sincerity, too. Robyn is not just my sister, she is my friend.
I have to admit that even though Robyn is an adult, I still picture her as my little sister. So when she and Christopher got engaged, it was a little hard for me to see her as someone other than the single, independent sister I was so accustomed to…especially the single sister who you knew would always be available to baby-sit at the drop of the hat because she didn’t have someone else to occupy her Friday and Saturday nights…
A selfish part of me wanted her to stay that way. But at the same time, I am happy that she has finally found her someone in life. Even when they first started dating, it was obvious just how much Christopher truly loves Robyn."
